i have been going nuts about this facebook application called "graffiti". it has been around for quite some time but i recently discovered the "replay" function. this was what made me go nuts about it. the replay function allows you to watch someones work being created from scratch. you can speed it up or slow it down. watching other peoples work encouraged me to do a higher quality drawing than i had done before. so i sat down and drew/ copied the frog from a post card we brought back from costa rica. the replay function also inspired me to play around with the possibility of animation and i ended up with the guitar drawing. that one was made purely for watching in replay. if i post the link you can probably watch and comment on it. (it probably matters if you have the latest macromedia flash)

im happy that i discovered how to save the pictures and post them on here for those of you that hate facebook.

ps. these photos are in .png format. i have no idea if you'll be able to see them. i'll switch them to .jpg if anyone has trouble seeing them.

thanks you guys. i should do another soon but im taking a bit of a break from them for a bit.

bre- just a regular mouse. i had to make sure the laser lens was really clean. i think having one of those pen/tablet thingys would be both sweet and cheating.

i am so excited that i made it to the public gallery for graffiti! if you go to the public gallery and look through the recent submissions you can find the green katrina. its really hard (for some odd reason) to make it onto the public gallery.

I looked you up in the public gallery and gave you a thumbs WAY up! hee hee...some of the art is so amazing!!! but obviously done with one of those special pad-pen thingys, which isn't really fair. that is why your drawings are so impressive. yay for you.

i like to look at this one and imagine that i have just traveled through a portal to another dimension and katrina is a little green gnome that is wondering if she can help me get my bearings. kinda like the fawn in the chronicles of narnia i guess. and then maybe once she starts showing you around you dont notice that shes green anymore. (yes i know that it sounds like i am on drugs but i am not. so neveryoumind)

aww see you have to make a cartoon aaron! you have the greatest ideas and the greatest skills and i would defenitly help you get your bearings!
