a fire truck screamed by our house... "hoo-hum"... "oh the apartments are on fire!"..." whoooeey!" we all got out and sat on my lawn. Who? pretty much everyone in elkford. it was pretty impresive to see the firemen actually save the building this time. i guess an apartment on the other side went up completely in flames and burnt to a crisp, but we couldnt see it from our side. just lots and lots of smoke comming out from all the suites and out from the roof all over. some old lady was rushed over to our house. she was on oxygen and the ambulance came over to get her set up with more oxygen because they didnt let her keep her smoke damaged tanks.
