i descided to go with a hole pattern around the outer circumfrence, with a blank space in the front to act as a wind/bugshield.

it takes forever. but it is a soothing sort of forever. i could drill these holes all day.the center punch/ dents took the longest. i didnt enjoy the center-punching. i sanded off the paint where i've drilled to have a sneak peak at the finished product. i will paint a slim black line on the very outer edge.

i made the holes and painted it black. otherwise, it is just the stock aircleaner cover that came with the bike. i should be done the drilling today, and if i have time, i'll do the sanding and re-painting too.
